List pricing remains at £4250 and upgrades for current users to the new G5 version will priced at £500. Developed by an experienced team of colour professionals, Star Proof is a Mac OS X application for delivering contract quality screened proofs on large format inkjets and colour proofers. Star Proof uses the unique hard dot generation techniques of Actual Dot 2 to recreate actual dot patterns and rosettes of original separations - even including defects such as moire patterns. Tuned to take advantage of Epson VSDT-capable printers such as the Stylus Pro 10600, Star proof produces remarkable results with contract quality proofs up to 200lpi being output on printers running at just 1440 lpi by 720 lpi.
